1. Potentially. I also think No Line On The Horizon 2 could've been a decent single, slightly more bouncy than the album version and posibly better than Magnificent.

I think Get On Your Boots is a much better song than Magnificent. Boots is experimental and fun, while Magnificent quickly gets boring after a few listens. I liked Magnificent when I first got NLOTH, now I think it's the worst song. Back then I thought Boots was the worst song, now I think it's one of the best.

Really? I still think GOYB is crap and Magnificent is decent (the intro is superb and it could have been a hit if it had a slightly faster pace). The only thing that keeps me from despicing GOYB as their worst song since Grace is a strong emotional attachement with its radio debut, not worth explaining here.
  3. GOYB... better than Magnificent?! Are you crazy? Don't get me wrong, I like both songs but GOYB is just cheesy and cringy. 50 year old men singing "You don't know how beautiful you are... Get on your boots... Sexy boots" - ugh, sounds horrible, but it's catchy. Magnificent is the all round better song - better lyrics, suits U2, it's what the fans prefer.

Plus one. Cringeworthy is the adjective that best suits GOYB in my opinion.

Also, it has the worst Edge solo ever. Even the Party Girl fuckup is better than the GOYB solo

i listened to No Line 2 many more times than Boots from that single
  6. Why is finding employment so damn impossible?

    Yeah, the B-side was better.

EDIT: FEZ-Being Born is still incredible.
  7. tough times everywhere Tim .. more or less
  8. It is.

They should've released one of the Magnificent remixes as lead single. Moreover, I believe the radio edit has a short intro, while that's the best part of the song.
  9. UC, MOS and FEZ are great, No Line is good too but the other ones didnt really get me.
