  6. Just the one Belfast date Sergio. Probably pick up tics for one of the other 2. Can't be bothered with Dublin as i'll be there in March. May yet travel for a summer show also.
  7. They're pretty big in Germany, aren't they? A German show could be an option. You get to know an amazing country (and, unlike Spain, you'll have no language problems at all) and will have a hell of a show...

    I'd love to attend the Belfast show, almost as much as the Dublin one. I envy you.

    No language problems in Germany? Only if you speak German.
  9. Not too fussed about seeing them in Belfast for some reason. I don't think it adds anything. Germany would be my number 1 destination to see them. Have a few bits and bobs on the plate this year but a long weekend may be achievable.

    Really, Gerard? I think the Belfast shows must be somewhat of a homecoming, aren't they? Don't they have a strong relationship with the city?
  11. They're not that big in Germany. The big hit was Chasing Cars obviously and they get some regular airplay on the radio, but nothing smashy so to speak. They seem to dare to try the big arenas this year (Lanxess Arena in Cologne). When I saw them 3-4 years ago, they also were announced for a big arena (Porsche Arena in Stuttgart which holds about 4,000 people I think), but then they had to switch to the LKA (maybe 2,000 people) due to low ticket sales.

    However their spring dates here are sold out so we'll see if they can also sell out bigger arenas. Of the spring venues I only know the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt, which also holds, maybe 3,000? Actually less in my opinion.

    Yeah and no language problems, unless you go into the country / middle of nowhere :-D. But everybody has to learn English as first foreign language at school. You won't have problems in cities.
