    there is still a canon ball stuck in the castle wall up there, from the attacks of Oliver Cromwell... my friend appeared to hold it

    do you see those three iron bars up there, that free space in the wall at the top? that is where you lie down on your back, bend over, slide down, hang free in the air and kiss the Blarney Stone... I did it but I died a thousand deaths. No pictures of that, only a video, but that shall remain private all I can say is, I did it and I survived.


    this pic is up there, before it was our turn. that older gentleman in the red coat, he sits at the hole with his feet on the bars you could see from the ground - he shoves you down into free space...but at the same time grabs you tight and keeps you safe
