1. I thought it was hilarious. I think they should let him have some fun. It's not that much different than the Packers jumping into the stands.

Like I said I don't mind the celebration itself, I mind the fact that he's basically just being rude and inconsiderate of other people that are doing their jobs down there. Doubt those photographers are getting paid the same salary as he is, and he's playing a game.

"The Leap", just like they said on the broadcast, is tradition. I'm a Bears fan so I downright hate the Packers, but that's a celebration between athlete and fan, there's no harm in it.
  3. Hey I'm a Bears too. However I don't hate the Packers. I know that doesn't make much sense.

Man, Cutler going down was devastating this year.
  4. Haha, well they did get to the NFC Championship last year. It could be a lot worse. The Super Bowl wasn't that long ago either.
  5. Yeah that Super Bowl was pretty awesome- and last year I was honestly amazed that they made it to the Championship. They stood no chance against the Pack though.

Realistically the only great part of that Super Bowl for me was Hester's opening return for the TD- we threw a party for that game and my entire house was going completely nuts!
  6. The only great part of Super Bowl was this:

  7. The halftime show is traditionally the biggest live music appearance of the year, unless somebody absolutely LEGENDARY happens to be touring. Only several halftime shows have TRULY disappointed me- last years did though.

Foo Fighters, Madonna, Kelly Clarkson and who knows what other special guests could be in store...should be a GREAT show.
  8. Thats not the only great part, but it's certainly one of the best. I wasn't a u2 huge fan yet when that came on, but I still remember watching it and being amazed.

And that Hester return was great. That was my freshman year and I remember getting so excited in my dorm when that happened. That guy is so freaking good.
  9. Madonna is doing it this year. Im not looking forward to it but it can't be any worse than than the Black Eyed Peas last year though.
  10. No matter how many times I watch that, the 9/11 names scrolling down the screen while the Magic takes place (a.k.a. Streets kicks off) always has given and always will give me the shivers.
  11. Yeah I read a poll a month or two ago that voted down the 10 best halftime shows ever.....U2 were either first or second, and the other top 2 slot was taken by Michael Jackson. Can't remember who had what though.
