Not a problem, glad to help.2003 really was a great year on the road for the band.Alot of powerfull shows were played. The boots (cd's and mp3s) from 03 were only available from the 10club.The cd's quickly became collectors items.I bought about 20 or so over a 6 month period back then.I will list a few gigs today from 2003 that I think some of you will enjoy...

Which touring year wasn't a great one?

  3. Starting off a concert by saying "Let me hear you" is one of the most legendary things I've listened to in recent times.

Thank you Matt and Olof for that
  4. Actually....the tours AFTER 2006 have been something less than great IMO....2007 (15 gigs),2008 (13), 2009 (32) and 2010 (26) were all mini tours. The 2008 tour was 3 weeks in June of 08.I couldnt complain, since the band played 2 fantastic shows at MSG that June, that I attended. But,what was the point of going on the road, for only 13 gigs in 2008 ?

2011 though, was a bit shocking,as the band promoted their PJ20 release, they didnt even play in Seattle, and havent since 2009.Only 2 gigs in the US, at Alpine, and that was in September.Again,a mini tour. They went to Canada, and South America.Thats fine. But,I would rather have the band in the studio.

I know Matt is back with Soundgarden, and they all have families,I understand that.Again,Im not complaining,it just seems a bit odd to tour for such a short time.I would rather see the band take the full year off,or even 2 years, regroup,do solo projects, then release a new album and do a full proper tour...

  5. I think PJ might be at a point in their career/lives where a full-scale tour may never happen again. They may rather just go "full out" for 15 to 20 shows instead of grinding it out for months at a time.

  6. Love that show.Id say the Drop in the Park show and the Boston gig from 04.12.94,IMO,are really vault releases as well ....great gigs that I play on a regular basis....

  7. well they did side projects lately -- who more who less ..

Eddie - Ukulele stuff and touring
Matt - Soundgarden (not just a "side project")
    Stone - Brad
    Jeff - Tres Mts
    Mike - collaborations around

i'm completely agree with you though .. i'm not a big fan of these mini-tours .. not meaning the performances of course but the concept itself

  8. of course your opinion about that statement doesn't count .. too much subjective hehehe

    kidding
  9. Don't you have all TEN 2011 Canadian tour shows, Ronnie? And three Brazilian ones? You must sort of enjoy them, no? It's cheaper anyway.
