Can we start making a list of bands that aren't allowed? Every time Pearl Jam pops up they seem to rule for pages. Perhaps Pearl Jam, U2, The Beatles, at least for a start, could be banned?
Plus, battling between the heavy hitters is only going to be fun for a few days. There's only so many of them, and while the combinations seem endless, nobody wants to see Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, etc. keep popping up. Go for lesser known bands that people can actually debate over and perhaps get enlightened to newer music. It sucks to nominate a personal favorite of mine that is a real great band, only to have to pin them up against someone like Oasis. Well no shit, they're going to lose and nobody will even check out the music!
