Edit: Hiya Frank!!!
On the final Vertigo show U2start had less than 2000 users if I recall correctly. And I was too busy during Barcelona1 to see if the forum held the pressure But I don't think it definitely crashed. It crashed SO BADLY during 2009-07-18 - Paris, it went down for a good 2 or 3 hours. Too many users. It was close to crashing on Turin 2010 and of course during Glastonbury too.
I so remember those days - very few people. Then it just exploded - how nice it was being user 180. I think the biggest crash I ever saw was when Boots was premiered - although hearing the advance 20-second snippet the night before. My reaction:
I was staving myself off because I wanted to wait until Chicago without seeing the setlist at all. Didn't really work....
Rolling Stone Interview: "The band opens with 4 tracks off the new album before they hit war horses like "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "Where the Streets Have No Name", and "Pride".
Then I was curious one night if U2 had ever played Electrical Storm live in any sort of capacity, and Googled it- only to see it popping up from the 360 Tour. Didn't recognize the bells in the preview video from the 30-day countdown, so it was news to me. Sidebar showing related videos of Crazy Remix, COBL, Vertigo, UV, and TUF, so those were blown for me too.
I predicted the comebacks of UV and TUF though, two of the tour's bigger surprises come opening night.
Hahaha, I know - it's hard to resist. I just didn't expect half of 360, what did happen, to happen. The new songs - when was the last time that ever happened, not since October Tour or even earlier? - the show coming to Australia again (logistics nightmare) and other things.
