A new music startup called "Switchcam" is algorithmically recreating concerts by stitching together fan footage. The footage is all synced up to the exact second so that you can switch camera angles and still be in the same moment in the concert. Check out what we did with U2 at the Oakland Coliseum: Here

This is pretty cool, but a bugger to have to join with Facebook every time I want to watch a different video. I enjoyed the link you posted, though. Very cool to be able to choose my view of the stage whenever I want.
A very good internet connection&computer memory are needed for the camera switches to be quick enough, but the idea of making your own multicam is absolutely BRILLIANT. Well done, Noah and all the people you work for/with.
PS. An advice: it would be definitely mind-blowing if you could sync all cameras to a unique audio feed

No no I miswrote that, I meant "only" ('only' translates as 'único' in Spanish and I got confused with that). All cameras synced to one only audio source, that would be a fantastic improvement over this already great idea

We use Facebook to be able to recommend events to you that are connected to your music likes. Basically we are trying to just make a better experience for you guys. However, if you dont want to connect with FB, we just changed it so that you should be able to watch at least one or two events before being prompted to join...let me know if we can help/ improve anything else. we are always trying to improve Switchcam.
Hey just wanted to let everyone know that you now have the option to skip the FB login request. We got a ton of complaints about it, and wanted to make sure that everyone is able to watch their favorite artists whether they have FB or not. Cheers!
It's a great idea, just a shame that the cameras don't switch quick enough. That would probably be my only issue. Like Sergio (LikeASong) said, a single audio feed would also be good but might nbe difficult for you to sync all of that up.
Good work so far though, if it continues to be improved...who knows?
Thanks a ton man. Yeah after talking to alot of music lovers I think that one of the biggest requests is for people to be able to pin down one audio source while switching the cameras. Hopefully we will be able to implement that feature soon!!! Trust me, I bug the team all the time
