    i've collected these on official french tv archive, ina.fr
    in .mov or mp4.
    so quality is far for perfect but its "collection" thing
    78 adverts in this file,
    i hope you'll enjoy.

    you can use vlc to play both .mov or .mp4
    i've just seen i've made an error, you'll have to change the name of the first file,
    199-01-06 U2 Janvier 99 - 46s
    in fact it is 1999-01-06 U2 Janvier 99 - 46s

    sorry for that, but it took me a century to capture all snippets, and change the filenames for all...


    INTERESTING THING:
    For Please
    1997-10-23 U2 Please - 32s

    you can see the picture sleeve that was normally done, and it was changed after for rights i think...


    EDIT:
    yesterday night,
    i remembered why there was a "special" sleeve for please in the french tv advert... :
    In France, we can't make advert on or about politics or political persons, thats why they had to change the sleeve because the normal sleeve was with 4 uk or irish political men...

    can someone from UK or USA go to the french tv archive website and tell me if you can see the videos... if not i will try to catch them for you...

    I ask this because we are not allowed to see the BBC archive from France.
