  2. Cold but very sunny these days
  3. 25 C , very nice, but it is expected 32 C ....
  4. Just got in, spent a few hours this morning and this afternoon outside. This morning it was bitterly cold, -6°C. This afternoon it is 2°C, still cold but in the sun there is a little warmth to be felt. The sun is about an hour away from setting in the West and the moon is nice and high in the East. Crystal clear skies, broken only by the contrails from commercial jets as they fly over the city intermittently. As far as Winter afternoons go, it's pretty much perfect.

    I'm not in Manchester this weekend, so don't know how bad it is there. Watching the game on my laptop, a few patches on the pitch, so the undersoil heating can't be that good.

  11. Between 4 and 5 inches of snow fallen here in the Midlands. Still coming thick and fast.
  12. Very very hot here during the last week. Spent the day taking pics at the airport today and the temperature reached 37*C
