1. Listening to the 2010 shows still...really makes you appreciate how good the band's b-sides were (are).

    BOTH shows, eh?

I should remember that next time.
  5. LOL...yes...even solo, you know EV is goin to mix it up a bit.Id like to hear Thumbing My Way this time. and Sometimes maybe as the opener.I saw EV at the Beacon, N2 in June,it really was great.Iam Mine,Off He Goes,Lukin (slow version),The End,Immortality,Porch and of course Hard Sun were my highlights.....
  6. So Ed (and Ronnie and any/everyone else), seeing that you seen PJ/EV several times, is there any particular song that you've yet to hear live?
  7. I've yet to hear their whole catalogue live

Hoping to go 2nd night, still haven't bought any tickets for it yet.

Very good question,I was going to say Around The Bend, but I remembered EV played it at my Beacon gig.Im not sure.....

All Those Yesterdays ..I missed it by one day in 1998.They played MSG N1,I went to MSG N2.....

I will have to do a full investigation on this Matt.....lol
  9. If "Around The Bend" and "All Those Yesterdays" (great song) are the only two you can think of off hand, I'd say you've done VERY well.

I've only seen them twice but I can say to you that you're in for a real treat. The way they played straight-ahead rock n' roll at such a high standard simply amazed me last September. I'll say this one more time: What was I (not) thinking from 2000-2010?

I cant speak for you Matt, but you were most likely caught up with 2 great U2 releases (ATYCLB,HTDAAB) early in the decade, and Radiohead released 4 albums,2 of which (Kid A,In Rainbows) are alltime classics.....

Until Backspacer came out,PJ werent exactly causing much of a buzz, in the industry.Only the hardcore fans ,continued to see them live, and buy the bootlegs.Same goes for Dave Matthews Band, who still somehow sell out stadiums (2 nights Citi Field and 2 nights at Wrigley Field 2010) here in the US.

Both PJ and DMB have an immense hardcore following.....buying tickets for 3,4 and 5 gigs each tour...
