Until Backspacer came out,PJ werent exactly causing much of a buzz, in the industry.Only the hardcore fans ,continued to see them live, and buy the bootlegs.Same goes for Dave Matthews Band, who still somehow sell out stadiums (2 nights Citi Field and 2 nights at Wrigley Field 2010) here in the US.

Both PJ and DMB have an immense hardcore following.....buying tickets for 3,4 and 5 gigs each tour...

Good point. As I said in an earlier post, if I actually like TKoL, who knows what who have happened with PJ and I (or am I the object of this statement and should be using "me?")

I didn't purchase Binaural and Riot Act until 2006 (Best Buy has them on sale when Avocado was released - not much going on in 2006, I suppose), didn't listen to Binaural until the summer fo 2007 (it just sat on my CD shelf for a year!) and, as I have mentioned a few times, I finally got around to listening to Riot Act about a year ago!

There did seem to be a bit of a buzz about Backspacer back in 2009. I have listened to more 2010 shows over the past few days - I am about half-way through the final MSG show, as a matter of fact (they're both outstanding) and have gained more/new appreciation for the majority of the songs on Backspacer.

Unlike PJ from 2000 to 2009, I continued to buy all of Oasis's new records. Remained a big fan until their break up. Have to admit that I haven't listened to those four albums that much over the past couple of years, however.

  3. I stayed with Oasis as well. But here in the States at least,Oasis werent as popular as their mid 90s heyday.I was shocked they played MSG in 2005,after only playing the Beacon and Roseland in 2002....

Back to PJ.....I will list the Canada '03 set today Matt...
  4. ...and I will start listening to some April 2003 boots.
  5. I was at a music store today and out of curiosity I did a quick surf through the Pearl Jam part... I saw a lil boxset (e.g. the 3 albums in just a nice carton package, nothing major) containing Vs. , Vitalogy and Live On Two Legs, all 3 for 29'99€ (~$35)... I was in a hurry but I'll surely be back and get it. We have Vitalogy on vynil but who cares.
  6. By the way... This is amazing:

  8. More South/Central American bootlegs are for sale. As of 1:23 EST, the Mexico City show still doesn't appear.
  9. What about the Alpine gigs, that happened before the Canadian tour ????
  10. Does anyone know where i can find the new Animal Project DVD from the 1st Toronto 2011 show to download?
    Thanks for answers!

I've given up on those ones. That's an official/souped-up release waiting to happen.
  12. little quiz .. what the starting riff of Olè recalls to you ultra-mega-fan of Oasis, Matt & Ed for example?
