    Me going
  2. @Olof: it doesn't matter how they play or sing..... because We The Crowd sing along loud anyway, who cares

    @Sergio: party-time

  3. This intro is just so ruined.

    I still feel like my first U2 show should be with U2.
  4. I don't think I'll be there anyway

    why not?! I thought you had that option going with you-know-who so you could be there?

    Well, nothing has been booked. I can always bring it up again.

  7. Jesus christ, that intro isn't just ruined, it's an abomination. The guy clearly can't play it, it sounds like a MIDI track. The only thing that guy is good at is looking like The Edge.

    Yeah, I'll definitely not be there. Bit expensive at the moment with loads of things coming up and I have exams really near the time of the event, so I apologise. But one day, one day, I will see you all

    THIS. And the delay is soooooooo off.
  9. guys i have seen rattle and hum a few times they are alright, they dont really put the effort in for my liking. the joshua tree they are a tribute band like no other, to my ears anyway, they put on a show like no other, and play the songs exactly the way they should be, i will be going to meeting but not the walking tour been from dublin i already know the places that are u2 related. i wont be going to the gig as well. look at there web site that will tell you the truth.
    c u you all soon.
  10. So in summary what is actually on the table for the meet? Tribute band and a walk? I still plan on going but I have Amsterdam the following weekend and it wouldn't make sense to use up all my beer money in Dublin the weekend before.
  11. well, the walk certainly is for those who are in Dublin for the first time. I won't take part of that either. I think the gig on Saturday night is the main "event" and the rest of the weekend spending time together, one way or the other. That's how I see it.
