summery of the past 24 hours in my life: booked a flight to Dublin in April for myself. booked flights to Dublin in August for best friend and me. booked a hostel for April. broke as hell now. met best friend last night, stayed up way too long. had a long talk, realized I need to focus more on my real life friends, online affairs have become disappointing lately. decision: stay offline more often. that's it. I need sleep. bon nuit

I had a perfectly normal day at school, but for some reason I can't get both Moment Of Surrender and Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall out of my head. I just woke up and the two songs are playing over and over in my mind.

I also heard the Johnny Cash cover of One for the first time, when my English teacher put on some music. It only took a few seconds for me to realize it. Great song, great cover, and man, why didn't Johnny Cash cover Please like Elvis Costello did? That deep singing voice sounds like it would go well with the "September, streets capsizing" verse.
