1. Here's the Grammy Ballot for 2012. We can discuss the award show here as well, as I'm sure videos of the performances will be posted throughout the week. Foo Fighters, Coldplay + Rihanna, Adele, and Jennifer Hudson are among the performances slated for tonight. Hudson's performance will be a Whitney Houston tribute.

Here is the ballot: (most of the important categories, anyway. Might have missed a few. Matt's predictions are italicized, winners in bold)

  2. Yeah I pretty much agree with all of that.

Except I hope the Foos snare the hard rock performance one for White Limo, killer tune.
  3. I also hope that Adele wins song of the year too, she deserves it, whatta cutie
  4. That would certainly be nice but I'm not entirely sure if that's their category. They're definitely the lighter side of Hard Rock...they deserve it for "Walk", but Mastodon deserves recognition for their latest release too.

If I'm going to be completely honest, I like the song a lot, but I would like it even more if it was purely instrumental.
  6. White Limo that is

Walk is among their best IMO
  7. Ballot updated, I don't think I've missed any categories at this point but I could be wrong.
  8. Has it begun yet?
  9. Yep. Sprinsteen playing the new song right off the cuff.
  10. FUCK. I DONT HAVE A STREAM
  11. It was decent. Nothing groundbreaking like Boots was a few years ago. Solid performance though.
  12. That's an anticlimax.

    How's the performance?
