  1. I suppose the style of play is the contributing factor. Our Championship sides are real fighters and it's tight every season. There is a difference in class when you arrive in the Premier League but that doesn't stop teams from having a go. Look at Norwich and Swansea this season, they've played like seasoned Premier League teams.

    When Denis Irwin limped off the Old Trafford pitch after just 35 minutes against Everton on 2 March 1991, Alex Ferguson replaced him with a skinny 17-year-old.

    Now, almost 21 years later, that talented teenager - namely Ryan Giggs - has won more trophies than any other player in the history of English football and is closing in on his 900th appearance for Manchester United.

  3. defenses of the mid-low ranking teams (and some of mid-high) in Liga are tipically truly inconsistent
