1. Need some help with a Mac. How do you copy songs from your iPod to it?
  2. Hmm, I remember my dad did that some time. I'll check.

  3. There are programs available. I prefer a more manual way. If you enable disk use on the computer you usually sync with it should show up in file explorer (Windows) as a removable disk.

Then, you need to allow the explorer to show hidden files and folders. This should reveal a folder called "iPod_Control" - in that folder is another folder called 'Music', this contain your music. Just back it up and import it onto your Mac.
  4. Not on the touch there isn't. I know there is for the old ipods.
  5. Anybody got any thoughts on the Lumia? I'm sure some of you have talked about it before but I'm wondering if it'd be a worthy buy compared to an iPhone or something. In dire need of an upgrade so looking around now.
  6. Have used Nokia before? If you have, you'll know it's the best mobile phone brand And yeah, the Lumia is said to be a beast. New operative system (they finally got rid of the obsolete Symbian), mindblowing tech specs and being a Nokia make it a more than worthy adversary for the iPhone. Which phone are you upgrading from?

It's a great buy. You may find yourself lacking a few games or apps that may be rife among your iphone mates but it's only getting better on that front. Go for it I say. Any questions just ask
  8. Yeah I've had loads of Nokias, have a Samsung Tocco now for the last 3 and a bit years and it's dying a bit so said I'd have a look around. It won't be for a while yet so I'll take a look at it, was just wondering whether it was worth the look or not. Cheers.
  9. It's absolutely WORTH the look. See how it feels on the hand and if you like the software and operative system (if you've had a Samsung for 3 years, maybe going back to this particular Nokia will be a shock for you), and see if you can get a good deal on it - it's an amazing piece of gear but they will upgrade it in no time I think.
  10. Only con is the battery life imho.

The biggest pro is the U2start app ofcourse

  11. True about the battery but not all that much worse than the Droid equivalents. Definitely switching to the 900 when it arrives. Hopefully the bigger battery isn't offset by the bigger screen.
  12. Camera is a bit dissapointing, same about audio quality. Especially the audio is terrible compared to the n900.

But Nokia promised improvements for both the cam and the audio.
