1. Oh, ok. I thought you meant that the tracks had been mixed between them (transitions, etc), which lead me to think it all had been released already

What's the 2nd song by the way?
  2. haha no no... as much as i wish that!! I'm getting very restless about getting this!!

One Tree Hill. and it's one hell of a performance!! Anyone recognise which show it's from?
  3. There has been reports of Bono changing the lyrics to reference the miners? If that's the case, Chile must be where the version is from.
  4. That would be a negative for Chile. The One Tree Hill featured on U22 comes from Auckland, New Zealand, 2010-11-26.

Also, I feel that the CD will be mixed in a similar fashion to Window In The Skies and all the other live albums (not concert films) they have released. Basically, each song will be mixed individually with some sort of fade in/fade out added.
  5. I'm really REALLY hoping they don't do the fade in/out
  6. Sergio, there was also a mining tragedy in New Zealand just days prior to their concert. That is what Bono is referring to.
  7. I wish somebody would PM me about this amazing track.

  8. Hasta La Vista Baby had lots of edits in its release for fan club and did not have fades. They made it work to sound like an ongoing show.
  9. One Tree Hill sounds great....nothing like listening to live released material.....they should do this more often
  10. Could someone send me " one tree hill" please
  11. How come everyone is so against the fade in/fade out type thing? Yeah it's not as good as if they mix it to sound like a live show, but at the same time you're pretty much getting the same thing. If it's mixed as a live show there'll be a certain falseness to it as well, because you KNOW that it's a compilation, not a show. Either way is fine with me, it's not something I'm worrying about!
  12. I don't know why people are against the fade in/fade out either. I think some are considering this to be like a "show" per say. As for me, I see this as an extended live album. The released songs sound a lot like Zoo Station and Kite from Window In The Skies (easily my favorite of U2's live albums). The production was great and they simply used fade in/fade out for all the tracks.

I think it's going to be very difficult to attempt to make those 22 songs sound like a smooth show, especially since the songs came from different gigs. They want the release to be 22 songs that represent U2 360. Transitions between the songs are not crucial nor are they needed.
