    Aaron I have tried sevvveral times and I can never get through it. I've seen clips from later scenes of the movie that make me really want to get through it, and I love the concept of sci-fi noir like that...but there's something about the early pacing that loses me every time.


    If you can make it through the first 15-20 minutes the pacing evens out well.

    Also, most people like it better the second time.

    If your into intrepreting films its a masterpiece, since everyone comes away with a diffrent opinion. I always saw the plot as, Deckard, in the process of hunting Replicants, which most see as machines, has scarificied his humanity leading to the rampant cynicism we see from him through the film, and his reluctance to return to duty as a Bladerunner. The reason becomes ovious. As he investigates them they become more human to him. Although the paperwork says he retired a replicant, he feels in his heart that he killed another human being.

    Course there like 1,000 other ways to see it.
