  1. Looks like something bad has happened outside in the street. Police have blocked it off both ends. Ambulance on scene also a bit further up. I'd say someone has been hit by a car. Been like this for close to an hour now. I'd go out but I don't want to appear nosey Particularly when the street is full of police officers, I'd be the only civilian...


    EDIT: Stuck my head out of the window upstairs, looks like a motorbike has had an accident. Looks nasty too, helmet and bike are about 15 feet from each other, unless they've been moved but I doubt that.

  3. Nope, I don't know anyone who owns a bike. At least I don't think I do

    I'm curious as to why it crashed. There are speed bumps along the road so if they were swerving between them at high speed it could explain it. At the same time, someone could've stepped out in front of the bike and been hit. The fact that the rapid response ambulance and the ambulance are still here doesn't say much for the condition of the parties involved.

    EDIT: Confirmed. It was a bike that hit a tree and the motorcyclist died at the scene. Explains why everyone is still here.

    I promised myself the same... But not having a piano to practice with makes it hard

  11. A shame for you I don't have a piano either, but dad bought a really good stage piano a couple of years ago, which will do Gotta love dad for wanting to supply his kids with tools for music. It's probably because he sucks at playing himself.
