1. I reckon MoS will stay. Obviously it wont be kept at the end of the setlist. Otherwise I'm not really sure but think it really unlikely they bring back any of the No Line songs they dropped from the 360 tour.
I guess I could maybe see Magnificent returning but definitely not Breathe.
  2. Magnificient for sure - whether I like it or not. It (surprisingly) getting voted on to U22 gives it "legs." Same goes for Moment of Surrender, which is a better song. I'd be surprised if Boots returns. Maybe the title track and possibly the studio Crazy. I'd be shocked if any songs that didn't played on the 360 tour ever show up. One might make an argument for "Zooropa" or "Miss Sarajevo" but that never happens with U2.
  3. If I ever go and see them again live, I might want them to play at least something from NLOTH; preferably the title track, Breathe or Fez/Being Born. Magnificent or MoS would be good too, even Unknown Caller.

If after 360 they go back to arenas (similar to Elevation following Popmart) they might dip into NLOTH songs. Just for comparison, post-Pop, Elevation featured quite a few Pop songs:

Gone - about half the shows.
On dozens of occasions - Please, Discothèque, Wake Up Dead Man, Staring at the Sun.

On the other hand, Last Night on Earth would've made a lot of sense too, but hasn't been played since Popmart, neither has Mofo (snippeted on 360). I do see them making a return sometime.

Discothèque went into hiding during Vertigo but has returned since, so never rule out anything making a comeback. If there is a good reason songs making a return (Boy stuff on Vertigo, AB-songs on 360, unknown gems such as Zooropa) then why not. Playing indoors makes it easier to pull off some more intimate songs as well. (MoS, UK, Fez/BB)
  4. I'd rather hear them playing anything else other than NLOTH tunes. Might be harsh, but it's true. The only one I'd like to see maybe get rotated in once in a while next tour is Magnificent, other than that I won't miss much if they drop everything else. MOS worked amazingly as a show-closer for the 360 tour, and I loved it, but I think they should move on from it, like they did with Love Is Blindness after ZooTV. Keep it fresh, unless of course they opt to go back to 40 on a regular basis
  5. I wouldn't say that I dislike NLOTH (it's got some pretty solid tunes) but, for me, none of the tracks are in my "top 25 (or even top 50) all-time favourite U2 songs" so I would have absolutely no issue if they dropped the entire record from the next tour. Simply play/rotate a bunch of hits, hopeufully some new/good material, and bring back some classics they haven't been played in years/decades - or never, for that matter.
  6. Wouldnt mind seeing Stand Up Comedy getting a go live, Edge could add an epic solo like Bullet.
  7. I'd love to see what they could do with some NLOTH songs in an arena tour. Who could have seen Please working as an acoustic for example? I think No Line would, am certain UC would be great in a more intimate setting and I can even see Breathe returning mid-set, jusy like Gone did in Elevation.
  8. Breathe and Gone are not the same. Gone worked very well midset. Breathe works well on the album, but I am not convinced that it works live.

  9. then he could play Bullet instead

  10. Would much prefer to hear bullet! I was glad at first that they dropped the song on 360 but towards the end of the tour I started to miss it.. Such a solid live tune! But at the same time I don't think it would've suited the tour... I think the Pop songs such as gone, last night on earth and discotheque would have really suited the 360 tour "theme" with the spaceship and what-not...

I don't think Bullet would have worked well based on how the tour evolved. Gone could have actually fit well because the 360 Tour felt a lot like the Elevation Tour regarding the "feel" of things. The Vertigo Tour was slick and streamlined. Gone felt like too much of a "wandering" song for that. But it would have worked for 360. Last Night On Earth wouldn't have worked. It fit well in Pop, but I can't see it coming back unless they drastically change it. Discotheque could have replaced the Crazy remix easily.
  12. At this point I'm wanting to hear some more stuff from the October/War period and from Pop. I hope they delve into those two areas on the next tour.

Specifically songs like I Threw A Brick/A Day Without Me, October/New Years Day, Drowning Man, and maybe I Fall Down. And from Pop, well, any of the good songs from the album!
