1. Well this begs the question... If they aren't mixing the songs into one show what's taking them so long to finish? Or at least give us a set list...
  2. it's U2.com, they ALWAYS take forever on just about everything...
  3. Can anyone provide a legitimite business-savvy reason as to why they take so long with these things? Anybody here who knows how to use an audio program could've mixed and chosen a decent running order for those tracks in less than a day, sent them off to be packaged and had them shipped out a week after the voting was finished. This is an honest question! Why do they take so long with these things? They can't be doing anything else that would take up THAT much time..maybe they're on holidays...

It's absolutely possible, Pearl Jam's fanclub has already officially and professionally released a batch of gigs that the band played less than 6 months ago.
  5. actually last gig was 3 months ago (still less than 6 anyway hehe)
but 10c, with all its problems, is really something else for what concerns releasing stuff .. and without nothing such as live nation behind for example.

other thing that sucks is that the download links appear ONLY for "new" subscribe/resubscribe .. and NOT for me being a subscriber since Propaganda time and above all my subscription will expire in october!

You're absolutely right! Someone here could mix it in a day or two i'm sure... My first would've been that it would be to suck in more subscribers...but if the potential new subscribers knew that it was going to be shipped immediately then it would influence them to subscribe more than knowing that it is still in production... and it's soooooo obvious that releasing yet another track to download is just to keep us happy for a bit longer while they screw around with it...

Ah well hopefully soon we get an announcement soon...
  7. I think, that Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry are mixing every song by themself....... so it takes the same time of making a new album.....

(although it is still a good idea a setlist on cd chosen by the fans, unfortenatly I am not so satisfied with the choice of the fans, but that is another discussion)

By the way; has there ever been any sort of official statement on or allusion to releasing official bootlegs at some point?

Also; does anyone know how far back the band has recorded all shows in decent-good kveltä?

I'd say at least back to ZooTV.

  10. By pure speculation, I assume?

I agree though, it sounds highly likely.

I FEEL 95 % certain at least Popmart, and Zoo-TV probably 2/3 the probability.

Since they had all the video stuff on ZooTV it feels likely. It wouldn't surprise me if they even have at least partial pro-shots of all the Zoo shows. We know they had a few of those competitions where a show was broadcast to someone. Like the Stockholm show.

I don't think there has ever been an "official" statement... I remember a video on U2.com where they interviewed Adam after the band had brought back Out of Control on 360 and he said that him and the Edge were listening to the last time they'd played the song in Saitama on Vertigo before the show... Obviously they wouldn't be listening to an audience recording...

I've always had the thought that they should make all the shows available on their website to purchase and have all or some of the proceeds going to the ONE campaign or some other charity...
