1. On Born To Run you have Jungleland.

Matt: Haha. Taste is a bitch.
  2. Olof, you sir, need to get into Led Zeppelin. I'm getting into Bruce, you do the same for Zeppelin

  3. Led Zeppelin is one of those bands that I try to remember when I'm at the record store, so I will. Unfortunately my brain tends to freeze when I'm there trying to remember all the bands I want check out. I hate that. I should write them down on a paper and have it in my wallet.

I really enjoy Jimmy in It Might Get Loud.
  4. Also, I'm gonna defend the Rolling Stones being overrated. There blues/country years in the late 60s/early 70s is so good. Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exile on Main St. is the greatest four album run in history. The Stones doing the blue are better than Zeppelin doing the blues.

My brain always freezes at record stores. That's why I always take my iPod so I know what I'm looking for. Jimmy Page kicks ass. Ultimately kicks ass. He shits over both The Edge and Jack White.

I've just started listening to Born to Run. Review later.

Also, everyone should listen to Black Sabbath's debut album. It's awesome. I used to think that Tony Iommi wasn't that good a guitarist until I listened to 'Warning'. Wow.
  6. My iPod only has the artists I'm already into, not the ones I intend to check out. Dunno about yours, maybe you have a list in there.
  7. Yeah, I use the note feature on my iPod touch.

  8. I always forget the notes I write there... in fact... let's check them out and find something I forgot.

Found a few song ideas in there.

Definitely on this side of that argument.
  10. Anyone watching the Oscars tonight?
  11. I am Les

  12. I'd take the Stones over the Beatles any day (and not 'cos they were positioned as the bad to the good). Right from the early blues (1964 - 1969) is my favourite era of them though - songs like Carol and Come On for one.

Has anyone ever heard Keith's first solo album - 'Talk Is Cheap'? I looked for it for years and finally found it in a record store with a lot of other interesting albums. None of those bands (the Stones and their contemporaries) are doing the blues anymore, which is a shame.
