    well it was definitely worth subscribing last year when they were touring, with the pre sale ticket codes and the broadcasts of shows but this year i think the U2.com content will be rare... It's entirely your choice but i think U22 is worth it
  2. A single CD ain't worth the subscription -in my humble opinion. They will be floating in eBay in mint condition for 50 or 60% (at maximum) the price of the subscription.
  3. I know $50 for a single CD is a rip.

    But it'll make me feel less guilty for not owning all their albums yet (I got a "U2 starter kit CD" from a friend consisting of all the albums along with audio rips from their live DVDs).

    No it won't. The CD will go up to as much as £35 which is actually just a little more than the subscription itself. I'd be surprised if it sold for about £15, extremely surprised.

    you wish Serge none of them are cheaper than the price of the subscription these days.especially a 2-disc set. it'll cost about the same as u2.com

    (i just looked up U2 Duals and it's about 40 dollars. artificial horizon is over 60. u2.communication is like 35 with a few days left).
  6. I think Sergio has been drinking too. Folks aren't going to make a loss on the only item they physically get from the subscription fee.
  7. Hey may have meant to say "150 or 160% the subscription price."

    Besides, I don't know why any subscriber would want to sell U22 in "mint" condition. Pretty much everything is wrapped in plastic, so selling a copy in the same state you got it means missing out on the 22 tracks. If you've heard the two tracks U2.com let us download, you wouldn't want to be missing out on the rest of them.

    My guess is that people will be selling "opened once" copies of U22 for at least $50 in order to regain the subscription fee, maybe more depending on how badly the person wants to make some dirty money.

    In any case, I don't see how people would be selling this for anything less than $50, especially since this is offered exclusively to U2.com subscribers.

    It isn't stupid if they buy a previous fan club release off eBay which isn't obtainable through U2.com anymore.

    No one will even sell U22 until they take it off the fan club release. They will wait a few months then start selling them because the price will have increased on the CD as they aren't available anymore.

  11. They are currently processing the CDs and getting everything prepared, and they are releasing the tracklisting very soon. So, we don't know an exact date, but pretty soon by the looks of things.
