1. I'm going to Seattle's in April. I bet the setlist we'll get will be even better.
  2. Yeah i don't doubt you! their setlists will only improve this is a great start i think
  3. having all the TKOL area songs (as rather well known) and so around half the set i can't say i like this first setlist
    a bit curious of course of the new songs even if they're probably in the latest mood (it they were in the Daily Mail way at least);
more curious of Kid A that it seems it's with new arrangement and with Jonny on piano.
positively surprised they pull out for the first time an old b-side
that, Airbag and Karma Police from '90s .. too little for me .. if they should have been so few they could have dared a little bit more than Karma Police, even if Meeting In The Aisle balances it.
Thom says it's great to be back and every night will be different (he hopes) .. i hope not only in the rotation of these 3
but, like Matt said, lets wait and see hehe
we don't have to wait for long till tomorrow in Tampa

  4. the new songs ...
    cut a hole

    Identikit

    too early to judge?

what it's not changed in 4 years are Thom red trousers hehe
    cool the flying monitors
  5. "Identikit" isn't bad, but I'm not really feeling "Cut a Hole." But it's like you said.. maybe a bit too early to judge.

But yeah, the set up is awesome. Those screens..
  6. are you reserving your thoughts for later the tour Matt?

  7. Yeah. I thought I'd wait a couple shows in before making any (negative) comments. I don't blame the band for what they are playing. Good for them for promoting their "new" album a year after it was released. The issue is I just don't like very much of it - not in the way I liked all of their other albums, anyway. For this reason, I'm fidning it hard to get too excited about this particular tour. Maybe a listen to a good bootleg will change my mind. In any case, I will continue to follow the tour.

Great to see tracks like Airbag and Karma Police still there. Same goes with Idioteque and National Anthem, as well as Wierd Fishes, Bodysnatchers, and Reckoner. Nothing from The Bends, which is a shame.

I'm still waiting for Let Down.
  8. A little bit different tonight. A few more classics with Pyramid Song, Everything in Its Right Place, and Street Spirit. I think these sets are great. I'm loving the encores.

    Bloom
    Little By Little
    Staircase
    Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
    Morning Mr Magpie
    Meeting in the Aisle
    Pyramid Song
    Nude
    Identikit
    Lotus Flower
    There There
    Feral
    Idioteque
    The Daily Mail
    Bodysnatchers
    Reckoner

    Encore:
    Separator
    All I Need
    Myxomatosis
Everything In Its Right Place (True Love Waits intro)

    Encore 2:
    Give Up the Ghost
    Karma Police
    Street Spirit (Fade Out)
  9. Australian Tour sold out pretty much straight away, my mate who was buying our tixs missed out

Now there are tickets on ebay selling for triple the price, fucking scalping cunts.
  10. loving the setlist and how they have two drummers! and not just ANY drummer, the guy from Portishead (spacing out on his name) but yeah, a lot of the songs are benefiting from this beefed up rhythm section imo.

still can't believe how close to the album version Meeting in the Aisle sounds... or the fact that they're playing it at all. mindfuck.
  11. Got tickets to the last Australian tour show in Melbourne on the 17th of Nov. SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!
