1. So, is it any different to the hardback? I mean, I saw the hardback which was huge and heavy, this one seems smaller and easier to read! But, does it have less photos or any other content difference?

Not to my knowledge. I love my hardback copy, but I'm gonna pick this one up! It will be so much easier to read!

Do you (or anyone) know what is the size, approximately? Is it like U218 SINGLES?
    Thanks.

its still pretty big. I saw a pic of it the other day. Still much bigger than your average novel
  5. Bring it out here, lower the price tag with 10 or more euros and I buy it...

I hope it's a comfortable stuff, unless it's no use...
  7. I saw this in Barnes & Noble the other day. I was surprised; I didn't realize that it was being released in paperback. (I'm still glad I bought the hardcover, though.)

It didn't seem any thinner...I can't imagine they would take any of the content out, though. It was definately bigger (edge to edge) than, say, your average notebook.

ETA: Amazon.com shows that it's about half an inch smaller all around than the hardback.
  8. I was in Barnes & Noble bookstores today (in California) and saw the newly-released paperback version of U2 by U2 for U.S. $25.00. I was ready to buy it right there, 'cause that's a great price for the book. But as I wandered the store, I came across the "marked down" Bargain section.

And to my surprise, the original HARD COVER version is being sold for only $9.98!!!! Of course I bought the hardback version.... So, if you live where they have Barnes & Noble bookstores, go check it out. You might get as lucky as I did today....

(ps.... Gracias a "germcevoy" for directing me here!)
  9. I bought "U2 Show" off the B&N bargain rack within the last couple of months for $9.98, too. And I saw the "Bono: In Conversation" book there recently, too.
  10. I got this today for 5 quid. Its brilliant and tiny and doesnt appear to have skimped on any content. Now readable without the need to carry a coffee table around. Well chuffed
  11. exactly the same. but much easier to read
  12. I saw it today, liked the look of it so i bought it.................
got home and it suddenly dawned on me i already had the GIANT hardback.....DOH.

    looks nice though
