My favourite non-U2 song is so hard to choose. I'd say it'd have to be Stranger In Moscow by Michael Jackson, or a very close tie between Suspicious Minds by Elvis. Both beautiful songs.
Loud song - Map of the Problematique by Muse
Listen to the drumming and the intro especially. Wow! Memories of a great holiday with this one
Quiet song - ummm... I'll go for Street Spirit (Fade Out) by Radiohead.
Great, great song. Brilliant lyrics - especially Immerse your soul in love from the last verse
Special mention for La Cienega Just Smiled - Ryan Adams.
^^^ I think that maybe the first mention that I can remember of Ryan Adams on this site.Fantastic singer / songwriter / performer, seen him twice, once in Manchester & the night he fell off the stage and broke his wrist @ Liverpool Royal Court in 2004.A co-worker knows the guitarist who was playing in his band at the time, got All-Area passes for the show and watched from on / the side of the stage, fascinating stuff.Anyway, when he fell off I had to get out of the way when he ran off stage holding his wrist and screaming like a baby........
I don't have a favorite one....but I'm always listening to
Learn To Fly - Foo Fighters
Love Foolosophy - Jamiroquai
When You Were Young - The Killers
Moses - Cold Play
Bigger Than My Body - John Mayer
Learning To Fly - Tom Petty
