1. So you finally got Nebraska?

  2. Yes. Even though I thought that vinyl was a bit too expensive. But I didn't find it cheaper so this time I just bought it.

There's a bomb threat against the final of the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest qualifications final in the Ericsson Globe tonight (venue of for example, a certain legendary Zoo TV Stockholm show). There's a lot of people in there. Police thinks it's a non-serious threat... I hope that's true. Bloody hell if it's serious.

Yeah, and I didn't have Summer Rain.
  3. In America you can usually get old records for a couple bucks. How much did it cost you? If possible do the conversion, since I have no idea how your currency compares to mine.
  4. 95 Swedish kronor = 13.945335 U.S. dollars

    According to Google^

Usually old vinyls cost like 30-40 SEK here. I guess since Nebraska wasn't a huge hit record, not that many were pressed and it may be kind of rare in Sweden. I'd also say they have bumped the prices on Bruce stuff since he's coming to Gothenburg this summer. They've taken the discs out of the folders too. It's not like that for any of the other artists I usually check.
  5. Never seen it on vinyl, but there is a store a few towns over from mine that ocasionally gets dubious quanitys of Nebraska on C.D.
  6. Cannot wait until I go to New York in the summer. I'll be visiting all those record stores and will be having a field day out of it. I will literally be bankrupt in a day.

Meanwhile, watch this work of art:

    I love The Smashing Pumpkins.

It's pretty cheap on CD here as well.

The bomb threat has been determined not to be serious and is not seen as a crime. Guess someone under surveillance made a joke or something. Now time to watch the Swedish ESC, loads of horrible music!

I'm a big fan myself - especially of Siamese Dream. Got the deluxe edition last December. Love the live CD that comes with it - the most complete setlist of any show of any band at the given time.
  9. I listened to Siamese Dream today. I hadn't listened to it for about a year or two, so it sounded great.

I've been looking for Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness for ages, but I can't seem to get it cheap enough. It's on my most want-to-listen albums list. I wouldn't mind listening to Gish either.
  10. You're going to NY this summer, Kieran? Woow!

  11. Yeah, and south-west Florida, along with Orlando too. Really looking forward to it.
  12. We just booked a little trip to London for six days on our Easter holiday. Should be fun.
