1. Indeed. Van Persie has much better ability in creating his own goals. I think Group B is pretty bad for the goalscorers though. The Spanish might have the top scorer by the end of the group stage if their attackers are on form.

  2. Here in Holland we dig Huntelaar much more than van Persie, who just doesn't seem to have the same attraction to the goal as he has with Arsenal. Huntelaar on the opposite scores every 90 minutes a goal in the Dutch squad, and is closing in on being the Dutch top scorer of all time.

With Huntelaar you know that there is someone who will score goals van Persie is someone who functions better just behind Huntelaar in the Dutch squad imho
  3. Let's not forget that Robben was bang on form last night.
  4. ac milan - Barca
  5. Apoel - Real
    Marseille - Bayern

    Benfica - Chelsea
    ac milan - Barcelona
  6. Final:
    Bayern - Barcelona

  7. Real Madrid vs. Barcelona

    Madrid to win
  8. oh yes, keep it coming. and Bayern will lose 0:3 in their own stadium
  9. It'll be a close game for sure, over two legs though Real Madrid should be able to come out on top. Bayern are a strong team, but I don't know if they could cope with the onslaught from Madrid they're likely to face at the Bernabeu. Mourinho is a clever man and he will do everything he can to make sure his side come out on top.

Likewise for Barcelona, if Milan play like they did in the 1st leg vs. Arsenal or if Chelsea get their act together, over two legs they can be beaten. Nobody should forget that Madrid have a huge lead over Barcelona in La Liga, so Barcelona must be doing something wrong...
  10. I don't think we should quite rule out Apoel yet.
