1. You know have access to my Atlantic City cover... sorry for the off-key start

  2. You have an awesome sound to your voice, great vibrato and just the tone is awesome. Good cover!
  3. Whoah, thanks a lot for being so nice

  4. Hahaha, no worries! I enjoyed it. So what's new in terms of life and all that jazz?
  5. Turning sixteen on Monday is the big news right now The new iPad that's in the house as well I guess.... And the song I'll never get a good recording of.... Maybe I should buy a steel-stringed guitar with a pre-amp in it... But I think I want it on the nylon stringed guitar you just heard on Atlantic City.

Sweet 16 eh? Unreal! Early happy birthday if I don't get a chance to say it on Monday. I've wanted an ipad for some time now. A lot of people tell me I'm an idiot for saying so, but hear me out. I have a super simple cell phone, I don't feel the need to have a computer in my pocket, always being on twitter and facebook and talking to people when I'm out and about, so that rules out the iphone if I wanted one. BUT, I really want to use some of the apps and play some of the games that you can only get on the iOS, so having an ipod would give me that opportunity, WITH a big screen to do it on! But they're expensive and I'm saving up for a ton of other things right now. Ah well.

As for acoustic guitar pickups and all that, I've always wanted to get one myself. You can either go the hard way and get a bridge-one (or whatever) installed, or get a soundhole one with the wire sticking out (or get a hole drilled in your guitar - that's a no no for me). I dunno, I think I've rationaled that if I ever really want one I'll just buy an electric-acoustic. But if you have an acoustic that you just love the sound of and want THAT one amplified, might as well see what you can do!
  7. You can always record with a normal mic though. That's what I'm trying to... maybe this guitar is just to old and does too many unwanted noises. Or maybe I just suck.

Maybe I'll have to make the song electric instead.

I'm also thinking of whether or not to buy a phone... I could get an Xperia Arc for a very nice price.

That's true. I've actually gotten some pretty good recordings doing that. I usually set my SM57 super close around the 12th-15th fret. The only thing is you have to stay super still when playing, which can be difficult!
  9. The SM57 is probably easier to do it with though, because it's a dynamic mic and not as sensitive as my condenser mic.
  10. Oh, Olof - happy birthday. FB's been acting up and Safari refuses to work properly with it (maybe some plugin or something), so in case you don't get it there, here it is.
  11. It's still not until tomorrow... But thanks anyway!
  12. Correct. But I have to go do things really early tomorrow to get into my new course that you know of, so if I don't get it here, then it's here for tomorrow.
