1. I can't compete with sea views I'm afraid
  2. Here's a few:

    More to follow...
  3. First one is really nice!

You're obviously a better photographer than me... and your equipment is obviously miles better.

First off, thanks for the comment. Though I don't necessarily agree with the second statement. I took them with my trusty 'point and shoot' compact camera. I have been impressed with it's quality since I bought it, but it wasn't exactly expensive or anything. All five photos have been photoshopped, contrast boost, a little extra sharpening, boost the saturation of blues and some other choice colours where I wanted.

Don't put yourself down. I only pressed a button and snap, the photo was there.

    Here's a couple more I uploaded:

  5. Wow, the second one is amazing with the plane taking off in the background and all It would have benefited from a little more of Rule Of Thirds, though! (moving the statues a little to the left, and showing a little more of the stone pedestal). It's really nice none the less

I agree, it could've been composed better, but what you don't see (because I've removed it) is a clock that sits in the background and I was trying to take a picture where I didn't have a more complex edit to remove the clock.
  7. A clock... Do you mean the hour/date that some cameras optionally superimpose over the photos?
  8. Tim: Let's call photoshop usage equipment... Even though i have it too. I just did a little bit of iPhoto editing of my pics.

Maybe it's just that my pics don't feel that special for me, because I'm so used to the motives.
  9. I don't get attached to my photos, I always pick faults with them or recompose them in my head. Sometimes you are lucky and get the perfect shot but they are few and far between.

Sergio, a physical clock (a great clock nontheless). Not a timestamp.
  10. And why didn't you want that great clock in your pic? Just curious
  11. Because it was obscured by the monument. It's not a great clock like the clock underneath Big Ben. Just something I've always enjoyed looking at when I go to Old Trafford.
