1. Nexus s fairly nice. It isnt half laggy though. This on lCS after a factory reset.

  2. ICS is quite good. I'm on CyanogenMod 9 on a Galaxy S II, it's just fantastic.
  3. BTW, did anyone see Google's April Fools stuff this year? I specially loved this one:

Specially enjoyed the "4 finger multitasking" feature! lol
  4. Best idea ever.
  5. I don't know if I could be bothered with all that rooting and modding business but this thing is slow. Annoyingly so in fact.

Seriously? Well maybe the Nexus S is old for it. Maybe try CM9? That's always better. And as far as I know rooting and modding is easiest on Nexus devices, so I don't think you'll have much trouble with it.

Drew: I heard many people say that actually!!
  7. I'll probably play around but a dual core shouldn't be needed just to run a keyboard smoothly.

Contracts are still as long as they were (18-24 months), it's just they won't give phones for free anymore. They were losing too much money, there were thousands of blokes getting brand new phones for free, then breaking up their contracts (paying a 150€ penalty -never more) and then selling the phones for 300, 400 or 500 bucks... Oh well.

Well that was plain stupid that the 150 euro penalty was chosen. Here in Holland you have to pay all the remaining months, so not really worth to break contract.

However they are doing something similar here now, contracts are more expensive because nobody texts / calls anymore everyone uses Whatsapp etc.

A 20€ on top of a 150€ penalty still is going to make you a tidy profit if you can get upwards of 300€ for a phone...or am I missing something?
  10. Nexus S is for sale. That's the shortest time ive ever owned a phone.
  11. hanahahaha legend
  12. The thing that annoys me the most (and probably the only thing at all) of the N8 is how effin' difficult is to highlight a text to copy or cut it. It's specially tough on Opera browser. Copying a link to paste it somewhere else is a fucking nightmare. When you highlight the text and 1-second-click on it for the copy/cut menu to appear, the highlight just disappears. And that happens on and on and on and aaaahhhh I hate itttt
