1. Now that would be one hell of a subcribers gift!

BTW, in that photo, other than the guy holding the guitar, the other dropbox guys are Iranian! I haven't seen them once live and these guys just became partners with them?! I'm jealous now! :-|

Well, you can always meet them again and, ehm, you know... Steal their phone books? politely ask them how was their meeting with Bono and Edge

  4. It comes from The Sun, a tabloid in which I don't believe anything that comes from it.

If it were true, then I would no longer be a U2 fan.
  5. Maybe that guy has other talents and have just gotten the wrong employers.
  6. Thanks for posting that atu2 link, Olof. Times must be desperate then.
  7. God I hope not. Bono's pretty much written most songs himself hasn't he?

  8. Maybe the two of us have to face that these 50 year old dudes are more modern than we are... haha. I think if they're doing something with that guy, it's gonna be good. U2 never gave me a reason to think otherwise. Achtung Baby was something completely new, probably picking up stuff from genres many U2 fans disliked. Maybe this will be somewhat similar.

Or this is just a false rumor and it's something completely different. Maybe U2 are teaching him how to write songs.
  9. I think the band may just be looking at other songwriters for ideas and inspiration. Based on "From The Sky Down," it seems like U2's songwriting process if pretty tried and tested. The only things they look for in other writers is themes, so maybe that's what they're looking for.

I can hardly imagine U2 selling out for a songwriter. Even though No Line On The Horizon was a "weak" album in the eyes of some, it was their album. They owned it.
