1. Opera issue, had same on n900. Default browser worked better in that aspect.
  2. Really? It's a browser bug? I thought it was just me being a n00b Thanks for clarifying. I hope they fix it somehow, it's awful
  3. go to m.opera.com using the Nokia version and make sure you have the most recent version. The Nokia Store never serves up the latest.

Not really a bug, just a slight incompatibility of interfaces which causes these irritations.

Anyway I always ran the latest builds for my n900, in my case that didnt solve anything in this aspect. Opera is the best mobile browser, regardless of this small issue.

Wish I could install it on the Lumia, but the Lumia is not jailbroken yet.
  5. you guys are far more up-to-date with all this technology stuff. Recently I've seen more and more adverts for tv screens telling you they can easily transfer any 2D movies shown on regular tv into 3D movies. Could that be possible already, or is it just a fake to sell more tvs?

I'm sure they can make them a little bit 3D... will never beat "real" 3D though.
  7. Why is this Xperia Arc of mine putting most of the apps I download on its internal memory and not on the SD card? Its internal memory is almost full. Any way to change this?

EDIT: I think I've found a way to move them, but it doesn't seem to allow all to be moved. This sucks, I'm gonna run out of app space and still have many GBs left on my SD card.
  8. I'm pretty sire the app needs to be written in a way that allows it to be moved. Try apps2sd and move what you can but know that you can't move it all.
  9. I think rooting the phone allows the freedom to move whatever app you wish. As Gerard said, try either that app or Norton Utilities. Both should offer a list that can moved to external storage to save space.
  10. I was able to move apps in Settings. Not all though. Go iPhone I guess...
  11. I like how apple went with just the one memory bank for everything. Hate phones with limited internal disk space for apps. Criminal.
  12. Its the reason why they dont have mass storage option though

Imho 2GB for apps is more than enough, most apps are below 1 MB.
