1. Death Cab for Cutie were unreal last night at the gorgeous Chicago Theater. First time in that venue...

And needless to say they did not disappoint. Ben Gibbard sounded exactly- and I mean exactly- like the record last night. From videos I've seen, sometimes his voice isn't 100% perfect live...but we must have caught a good night in particular.

They played with a small stringed orchestra for almost their entire set. Death Cab songs like "I Will Follow You Into the Dark", "Passengers Seat" (which they opened with) and "Grapevine Fires" were totally transformed. I was in awe the entire night, jaw-dropped for the first two songs entirely because I could barely believe how beautiful the music sounded.

Wish I could go back again tonight Instead, I'll be seeing The Fray!!
  2. The Fray ♥

I still have to get into Death Cab...
  3. Got tickets for The Black Keys today, they will be here in October
  4. I saw that announcement Andrew, happy for you! They put on such a great show. Who are they touring with this time around?
  5. Bound for The Fray. Made a sign that says "TRYIN TO THROW YOUR ARMS AROUND THE WORLD". I plan on being front row...ill keep you guys posted

  6. Not sure yet who the support act is, who have they had in other countries?

  7. Arctic Monkeys have been with them for the whole thing so far, as far as I know. Hopefully you get them, they've been playing so great.

So, Isaac from The Fray saw my sign, pointed to me, and smiled and nodded...even though they didn't play their U2 cover, he definitely acknowledged it and showed a little U2 love!
  8. luckily not everyone are like mr nobody kasabian
