1. "It's ok to flirt!!!"
Bono at Milan on Vertigo Tour, while The edge plays with the crowd with the first cords of ELEVATION...
  2. ''this is my second wife Maria McKee. The queue for the third starts outside''

    Bono - Point Depot - 27th December 89

Indeed. Much better than the 31st one, when they knew they were being broadcasted all over the world.
  6. don't know if it was posted already but:

2005-07-16 - Amsterdam, Netherlands - Amsterdam Arena, after New Years Day:

    Bono:
"The first time in 20 years, I've heard The Edge change the solo of NYD
    ...
Every so often, I say to The Edge 'what do you think about changing the solo of NYD?'
and he says 'why would I? it's perfect.'

[then Bono stops speaking for a few seconds and says:]

    oh, it was an accident"

    it's funny

I have to quote myself. I've read that sentence and I can't stop laughing... xDDD
  9. I personally like Bono's reaction on forgetting the lyrics of Desire....

'It's been a while' and then he starts to sing La Bamba. Good to see he's also human And the band introduction in Boston 2001 is also funny of course!

"Goodbye Sydney" at the melbourne show was priceless for us aussies!!!

at the start of Miracle drug in Gothenburg in bono's speech... "I was telling some people this week... how those four notes........ five notes....... four?" very funny... give it a listen!!!

That reminds me when he did a similar thing at the beginning of Cry/Eelectric Co. (Vertigo - Chicago 2005), as to how many years ago... (can't remember off the top of my head what or where it was in relation to, ironically), but Bono couldn't remember whether it was 20,25 or 23 years ago.

I haven't heard the above, but it sounds similar.
  11. Not a funny sentence per se.......but I always laugh during the beginning of Angel of Harlem on the Slane DVD when Bono has to count off for when Larry and Adam are supposed to come in.

Oh, and also when you see Adam jump out of his skin when the confetti cannons go off during "Daddy's Gonna Pay..." on the ZooTV DVD Does anyone know the story of these? Were they used on all the shows, or just the Sydney one because they were filming it?

the confetti is actually fake ZooTV money. As far as i'm aware (correct me if need be) these were used for the majority of the ZooTV shows. Definatley not just for the Sydney show anyway
