1. FYI

U22 is all set for release - and if you've resubscribed for 2012 there's a special bonus track ready for you to download right now.

By the end of the month this definitive live record of U2360° - as decided by you, the fans - will be on its way to everyone who's resubscribed for 2012.

And on May 30th you'll be able to download EIGHT more tracks.

Sequenced and mastered by the band and their production team, the live CD set sounds sensational and the accompanying book is a work of beauty!

Production has taken slightly longer than planned but to make the final wait pass a little more quickly, today we're making available a fourth live track for download - and this time it's a bonus track that's not on U22.

Want to know what it is ?

If you've already resubscribed for 2012, when you click on the 'Account Info' button at the top of the page, the download link will take you to this bonus track from U2360°.

U22 is coming... and it's going to be worth the wait!

Makes me think that the eight tracks may well just be eight from the album, sort of a little sweetener for the delivery wait.

I'm happy with 4 from the album and 4 that are not to be honest. As long as it comes asap! Good news all around!
  4. 14 days to go, maybe they'll surprise us!! I hope so ;-)
  5. If they did release eight non-album tracks, I'd want to see:

    1. Electrical Storm
    2. Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
    3. I Will Follow
    4. Miss Sarajevo
    5. Mothers of the Disappeared
    6. No Line On The Horizon
    7. Spanish Eyes
    8. Your Blue Room

    -----------------
That said, I can maybe see them going the same way Genaro stated. A mixture of U22 and non-U22 tracks. At the end of the day, all 46 have been recorded so they're not losing anything by throwing some of the other tracks out there.
  6. Unknown Caller is available for download.
  7. The 8 extra tracks are just that...extras that will not be on the CD issue of U22. They're shipping U22 by the end of the month and on May 30th, 8 bonus tracks will be available as downloadable extras for subscribers.

Good on U2.com for this release. Couldn't really ask for much more in this case.
  8. I'd predict that the eight songs are ones that were played quite a bit on the tour but didn't make the final 22. So we'd get somthing like:
    1. Get on Your Boots
    2. Crazy Tonight
    3. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    4. I Will Follow
    5. HMTMKMKM
    6. Miss Sarajevo
    7. Pride
    8. No Line on the Horizon ...or Breathe

  9. It says eight more available to download. That sounds like eight that will be on the cd to hold you off until it arrives by mail. We know some people get theirs quick and some it takes longer because of where they live.
I would be shocked if they gave us eight extra bonus tracks. U2 never does what we would think is obvious when it comes to this stuff. If they did then we wouldn't have gotten Sydney DVD in AB box set now would we?

"I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight" (100.9%)
    "Get On Your Boots" (100%)
    "Vertigo" (100%)
    "Sunday Bloody Sunday" (98.2%)
    "Miss Sarajevo" (60%)
"Pride (In The Name of Love)" (59.1%)
    "In A Little While" (45.5%)
"Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" (41.8%)

The eight songs that were played heaviest without making the cut. The percentage is simply the percentage of shows the song was played at.

The CD comes by the end of May. 8 extra tracks will be available to download on May 30 (presumably after everyone has gotten their copy). In that case, why would they give us 8 tracks to download if everyone already has the CD?
  12. I like how everybody is making predictions for the 8 extra tracks when one of the extra tracks is already known.
