Huh.
A lot of people have been speculating that the 8 additional tracks may or may not be featured on the CD. Additionally, Unknown Caller was listed as a bonus track and another of U2.com's emails stated that 8 bonus tracks would be available.

Not speculation, confirmation, the 8 tracks are going to be from the U22 CD not additional bonus tracks U2.com has confirmed this.

Although I'm not too sure if I want Jay-Z on my only version of SBS...I think I'd simply use the Rose Bowl version.

There's like at least a page on the forums here and at U2.com of people predicting which 8 off-album tracks they will be getting, lol.

Originally posted by LikeASong:^ I tend to agree with that. The Moncnton performance of ''40'' was a nice adition to thank the fans who had faithfully asked for the song to appear somewhen at the tour. But it wasn't a top notch performance, very far from that. A mediocre performance of a song, whether it's a great song or not, is not worthwhile to enter a compilation of what's supposed to be a "best of" from the tourWe already have a proshot&soundboard recording of it, which is more than the 90% of other songs ever performed by U2 at any concert.

I wouldn't say it was "mediocre", even if you weren't there and you watched it on that video it's still decent, and for the people who were there it was somewhat amazing.
I'll agree that it shouldn't go on U22, because it was only played once and compared to the rest of the recordings it ISN'T up to par in terms of performance, however there's no need to beat a dead horse, the performance is what it is, decent on the video and awesome for those who were there.
