1. Yeah, but from a musical standpoint...

A fact: Ten of the songs in this final are written by Swedes. We're good at exporting horrible music, that for some reason is very popular. Luckily we're good at good music too.
  2. Stupid song with that "c'mon and dance" I agree, but it's Eurovision after all, everything here has to be catchy. Let's watch Swedish

a guy from Estonia sang good by the way
  3. Yeah. Apparently he is a big musical star in Estonia. Kinda liked it, but I doubt it has any chance.
  4. after Russia and Sweden, will be number 3 maybe
  5. Iceland was fine too I thought.
  6. What is the coverage like in your countries? Over here we have a 'commentator' who basically sits there with a few bottles of wine making jokes about pretty much everything. Terry Wogan used to do it, but it's done by Graham Norton now. I much prefer Graham Norton. To be honest, it's the only reason we watch Eurovision in the UK, to laugh at everyone, including ourselves.

I'm sure there's a country out there that actually takes the event seriously...
  7. Serbia has a pretty good song. It has some melodies that you will surely feel you have heard before though
  8. Here there are two commentators bullying those three presenters from Azerbaijzan. They are half serious.
  9. Well that happens every year.

Here they are way to serious. Its on public 'family' channel.
  10. We take it pretty seriously... Not overly though.

  11. It's broadcast on our 'leading' UK channel over here, BBC One Our TV license fee is paying for this coverage. We pretty much fall in line with the Swedes then, though we don't take it remotely serious. The best bit is the voting, falling head over heels for those who give us a point and completely disrespecting those that don't.
