  3. Well, summer was yesterday I think, today it's more like spring again, +14C.
    This T-shirt is limited edition, only 50 or 60 were made for Moscow concert, each one with name or nickname on it, I like it too

  5. Had a mini-football tournament with some guys at work on Thursday, 10 media teams in London playing for the sheer hell of it, great fun, found a few pics to share.


    Action shot of us guys - I'm the one nearest the camera, in the holding role (should say, we lost that game 4-0, but won 3 and drew the other one!)


    Our team after the tourney - I'm top right (for those of you not familiar with moi). The two guys in shirts and jeans injured themselves in the practices we had leading up to the tournament, so they came along and acted as joint-coaches - bit of a Mighty Ducks thing!


    At the after-party with David Beckham's face on. As you do. They had a free bar with £10k worth of drink...suffice to say, Friday was not a good day to be me!
  6. Good to see the rule of "Put the fat kid in goal" carries through into adult life not surprised you were holding, those three skinny ones on the left would be brushed aside. Looks like great fun

  8. Ha! Nah man, our keeper was quality! He used to play in goal back in the day, but I know what you mean. I always found it the case when I was younger (and distinctly pudgier) that I'd get stuck at CB - nowadays, I'm much better up front or midfield, but on those pitches, positions don't really matter, it's just a case of 1 back, 2 forward, constant rotation and movement. We won our next game 13-0 overall, we bagged 35 goals in 5 games, of which I scored about 4 or 5 (pretty sure we top scored overall) BUT still ended up 5th! Travesty lol. We even had a mini-scuffle during one match 'cause the other team didn't like getting a taste of their own medicine when they tried kicking every team they played off the park. Wasn't pretty but it all came out in the wash, 'cause I think people realised that it was in fact just a game.
