1. I'm so glad they chose to make MLK/Walk On as a single track. I feel that the two of them make a killer combination, but MoTD/Walk On from Munich would have been even more amazing.
  2. My copy landed in my mailbox this AM in NY....

It's a pretty nice package, but I'm sure some people with end up with the package being bent. The cardboard envelope it is mailed in is pretty flimsy.

Nevertheless - have it on now and it sounds fantastic!
  3. Well, it certainly looks the business.
  4. so, are there any snippets between One and Streets?
  5. yes mate whats between One and Streets? thanks
  6. One just blends into Streets with crowd noise. One has the "do hear us coming love, hear us call" etc. verse at the end, a few 'thank you's" from Bono and then the Streets intro.
  7. Bummer, they played some great snippets in between. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? Help! and Hallelujah just to name a few

Ohh I see they chose 2009 shows for both of the songs, they were played in the reverse order back then, first Streets then One. No snippets back then, although u2gigs says Bono sang some lines of The Whole Of The Moon during Streets in the Chorzow show they chose
  8. bummer indeed. one more dissapointment besides all the retro stuff on the final track list, almost no new songs present from the 360 tour.
  9. how does TUF go into Zooropa? Is there a questions segue or nah? Mine didn't arrive today :'(

Note that even though we call it "retro" stuff, these are songs that have not been mixed to this quality before.

To list songs that haven't been released in this format in a while (excluding live DVD releases)

Bad - (not since Rattle and Hum)
Streets - (not since Rattle and Hum)
    One - (never)
    Ultraviolet - (never)
    EBTRT - (never)
    WoWY - (never)
    Beautiful Day - (never)
    CoBL - (never)
    The Unforgettable Fire - (never)
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - (not since Rattle and Hum)
All I Want Is You/Love Rescue Me - (never)
Moment Of Surrender - (Wide Awake in Europe)
Until The End Of The World - (never)
    The Fly - (never)
One Tree Hill - (never, also good luck finding a quality recording since Lovetown)
Stay (Faraway, So Close) - (never)
    Walk On - (never)
Zooropa - (never, also never played to this extent)
    Elevation - (never)
    Out Of Control - (never)
    Mysterious Ways - (never)

If you're willing to settle with the live DVD quality mixes, which in my opinion is not nearly as good as U22's mixing, then fine. Otherwise, it's all essentially new material.

I really hope so. But I fear that it may not show up because the questions segue was more of a feature for Miss Sarajevo as opposed to TUF. However, it does play a role for Zooropa since all those questions lead up to "What do you want?" the central theme of Zooropa.
  11. You're actually wrong about a few of those... For example Stay has been released as a B-side. And I think a few others have too.

And DVD-quality is pretty much equal to DVD quality.
