1. Does no one besides me prefer the version of Stay from the 93 shows to the ones since the elevation tour? To me there's ZERO comparison. The atomsphere captured by the full band version just can't be touched.
  2. I gotta admit to my shame that I just downloaded U22. I'm starting with Bad because I was at that concert and it's my favourite song. I gotta say, it brings me right back in Olimpico: que citta magica! (hope my spelling is correct!)

one of the best gigs of the tour and I think bono was quite sincere while saying "che notte magica, che città magica"...very emotional moment!

You say yourself there are 3 stages. Because of the differences in the different legs, people vote for the legs they liked best. Apperently the first leg wasn't the favourite..I gotta agree with that, although I liked Breathe as an opener. But I liked the 2011 part, I just saw the New Jersey show, but the AB songs really got me. I just don't like NLOTH as an album, that's why the Pasadena dvd doesn't appeal to me, atlhough I have it in my collection!

In my opinion, the last North American leg was the strongest as a while. The second European leg had many strong performances, but a couple of the changes just didn't work for me. Stingray Guitar --> Beautiful Day = WTF? Also, I'm not a very big fan of HMTMKMKM. The first stage of the tour was actually quite strong, in my opinion. I just felt that Breathe did not work as an opener. While I wasn't sad to see Breathe get dropped, NLOTH and Unknown Caller were songs that should have stayed.

Should've been Stingray -> I Will Follow. Kinda like the energy of Mofo -> I Will Follow.
  6. Stingray -> Boots! (seamless transition without "the future" video intro)

They both have essentially THE SAME guitar riff!!!!
  7. Does someone has the complete setlist including snippets and stuff?
  8. IT'S ARRIVED!!!!!!

Man, the book(let) it big....even excessive.

Agree 100%. No version will ever touch Dublin '93 for me, ever. It's still an amazing song, full band or acoustic, but I completely agree that those Zoo versions will always be the best.

On topic: Awesome to hear Zooropa like this. I love the clarity of sound of the questions at the beginning merged right into the song/vocals. So good.

I think it was the best of the 5 gigs I've been to of the 360 tour. I did like the songs of the 2011 shows better though, but Bad and Mercy did it for me in Rome! Another good surprise was Stay in Berlin in 2009!

well duh, simply because it's from VARIOUS dates. ahaha

song wise, no it needs more NLOTH, the COBL, Vertigo, Crazy, SBS. Batman, MS into Zooropa, etc etc. but that's just me wishing ALL 46 eligible songs were on here

    Agreed.
  12. I have been listening to this all week - it really is a great 2 CD set.

For me, the stand-out tracks are: Bad, Zooropa, One Tree Hill, Unforgettable Fire and With or Without You. WOWY surprised me...I thought overall it was kind of lame on 360, but this version has some great sound...I just wish they had extended the outro a little bit more! Bad and Zooropa are just fabulous. I LOVE the AIWY snippet in Bad and the questions and bass in Zooropa.

The disappointments are all relative, but I'm not nearly as impressed with UTEOTW as I expected to be. I absolutely love the track and loved it every time I saw it on 360 - but this version with the Sinatra voice/snippet just doesn't work for me. I also think the version of MOS on WAIE is much superior to this one (even with the hokey vocal enhancement on that version). Streets is just OK here...this version doesn't seem to capture the awesome energy that is Streets as well as others and I definitely miss the segue/snippets leading into it.

Overall though, no real complaints. Just a great collection.

Keeping my fingers crossed we get the non-CD tracks as a Holiday download or something....
