    First period belonged to Italy, our defense sucked big time. We were better in second period, but coach placed exchanges to late and we didn't use their weaknesses to win the match.

    Did you see that Irish fans singing at the end? I hadn't had that many goosebumps since a long, long time ago.


  8. I heard them. I saw them. I had goosebumps all over. And I sang along in front of my tv. And I got tears in my eyes. No matter which team will win the cup in the end, this is what I will remember of the tournament.

    ps: it's all over the newspapers and radio stations this morning, the way the Irish sang and celebrated in the hour of defeat. People ask for Fields of Athenry, it's even been played on the radio an hour ago.

  11. Shame there's no results to back that up but I guess the fact they are singing like that in defeat makes it that bit more special. You wouldn't get that from many other countries.
