  7. Right! It's review deadline day everyone!!!! Looking forward to another great boot to listen too over the next couple of weeks. Well done Pato for being uber-punctual on your review. Here's mine:

    Performance: 4.5 stars.

A superb ZooTV performance with emotion. Interesting change in set to include some Zooropa songs and to have ISHFWILF, TTTYAATW and WOWY dropped! The guest violinist on Bad was amaze-balls and Bullet was one of the best versions I've ever heard. An early and rare version of Zooropa is excellent and Babyface is good being cranked up to be a bit more 'rocky'. If you crank the bass up whilst listening you get a great kick from Larry's drums, especially on Zoo Station.

    Audience: 5 stars.

Massively involved and a really interesting set of confessionals!!!

    Sound: 4.5 stars

As close to perfect as you're going to get. Great balance between vocal, guitar, drums and and bass and the audience not too loud.

    Overall: 4.5 stars

A superb boot. A must have in anyones collection.

    Highlights:
    -Zooropa
    -Bad
    -Bullet
    -Zoo Station

    Lowlights:
    -Streets is slighlty dissappointing!

  8. I'll be reviewing tonight Loading it up on my iPod as we speak.
  9. Achtung y'all!

    Performance
Zoo Station kicks us off again, typical "in your face" performance. Difficult to really rate Bono's vocals underneath the distortion, but the rest of the band kick off with a bang. The Fly is as good as it always is, flawless solo from The Edge. Even Better keeps up the pace, but then again, you already knew that. A little lazy from Bono I think, there were better performances in the first European leg. Mysterious Ways brings energetic opening to a close quite well. Its late in the tour now and I do feel that there have been more enjoyable openings but don't let that detract away from the effort of the band. One is really where we can start to judge them properly. Question is, what's going on? Problem with Bono's microphone I assume. "Did I disappoint you? Words can't come out of my mouth" - always one the ball for some improvisation is Bono. Other than that mistake, a good performance. Tonight's extra long snippet is She's A Mystery To Me, always preferred Unchained Melody but, either of them does work. Back into business now with Until The End of the World. Fantastic. New Years Day, equally as impressive. Numb, erm...I love the album version and I think that's where it should stay, not really made for the live show in my opinion. "What do you want?" Zooropa! I don't like it. I want it full, not starting at "I have no compass..." - other than that, it sounds great. Swiftly followed by another of my favourites from Zooropa, Babyface. They really have tried to take it somewhere live, thrown in extra guitar parts etc and to an extent it works. Definitely not a song that would become a staple of the live show though. Good to hear it. Stay follows those two surprise inclusions and does so impeccably. The band then throw in another unexpected surprise, I Will Follow. Have had it down for just over a decade, they can't do anything other than play it exceptionally well. Bad is the next track, tonight with a special guest on strings. It really adds something to the track, separating it from the rest of the Zoo TV performances. Very good. Bullet The Blue Sky, is this up there with the technically perfect version from Dublin? Yes. Amazing. Running/Streets is without a doubt my favourite pairing in the U2 live history. Always a pleasure to hear them perform these two. Pride is very generic, yet sounds quite fresh. Actually, very enjoyable. I adore the Zoo TV remix of Desire with Macphisto. Love it. Can't be faulted for me. Followed in by the beautiful, yet heartbreaking Ultra Violet, perfection. Closed by the typical haunting performance of Love Is Blindness. Again, hardly a foot put wrong.

    Rating: 4/5

    Audience
Nice little impromptu performance of "40" before One, from the crowd. Any opportunity, we're in. On the whole, they're present and having a good time.

    Rating: 4/5

    Sound
Very good audio, bass is a little too booming form my taste, but other than that, it's up there with the best.

    Rating: 4/5

    Overall

    - Until The End Of The World
    - New Years Day
    - Zooropa
    - Stay
    - I Will Follow
    - Bullet The Blue Sky

    Lowlights:
    - Numb
    - Zooropa

    Rating: 4/5
  10. Good to see your reviews !!!

Tim I'm surprised your lowlights. When I listen I realize that I live there and do not know the future. Obviously I prefer the current version of Zooropa, but imagine at that moment to hear that. It would have been magical ...

Babyface is not my favorite, but they played it live perfect and is also pleased to inclusion in the setlist

Anyway , we are still friends
  11. What I mean by Zooropa is that with/without future knowledge, I still would like to hear it in full, with all of the brand slogans at the start, because for me, that is Zooropa. I did also list it as a highlight Purely because it was great to hear.

No doubt, it would've been magical but would you be gearing up to join in with Vorsprung Durch Technik or I have no compass?...

Full version is what all we want , but i prefer this than nothing....

Even this boot without this "new " songs will be another good show ( with a very good sound, of course)
