    important epiphany hit a minute ago while scrubbing the bathroom floor: stop inviting people over for BBQ and just go to one of their places -- saves you all this shit of cleaning up. Let others do that and just have fun.

  2. YES And if it's a big enough group, then when someone says "Let's go to Kirsten's for the next one, shall we?" you can say "Oh, no, we were at mine's 2 bbq's ago, don't you remember??" and nobody will be able to tell if you're right or wrong because you're a big group and nobody remembers.
  3. good idea well, today we're 7 including me, but considering we're all around the same age, memory loss is an important topic already so your tactic might work. I'll try it out.
    I just hope the sun and heat will stay until late tonight, gotta be a good relaxing chill-out.
  4. there's this McDonald's spot on German tv these days (you know German and Dutch football fans just love each other...).... and I wonder if Holland has one too, only with the German fans being f***ed up in the end - that would be hilarious

    Just be careful that you're NOT the "injured" one when other people might try the same tactic to avoid BBQs happening at their's

    It's actually the funniest commercial on dutch tv this ec.. All the others are just meant to sell orange stuff and collectables etc..
