My Snow Patrol recommendations would be

    You Could be Happy
    This isnt Everything You Are
    The Symphony

theres a heap of good SP songs though.

    I'm back - don't worry!!!!

It sounds like half-indie rock, half-slow psychedelic rock with a few pop influences thrown in because they can. Anyway I was watching a few Muse videos today; man are they good. That's the kind of rock I could go for, and I have this feeling my sister has all the albums.

    So tomorrow night - I'm Muse-ing.
  3. Yeah... Muse is where you should go for a band constantly innovating and challenging themselves.

There's way too little of that today. And rock is therefore dying.
  4. Most bands just fit themselves into the rock soundscape that has existed for more than a decennium now. They make good songs, some very good. But they don't sound fresh and new. I mean... I can only imagine what Smells Like Teen Spirit must have sounded like. Or Beatles back in the days.

Nope, bravery is hard to find in rock these days. It exists in loads of sucky sounding music that is popular though.
  5. And that's why I think there will be a third wave of newly developed punk (grunge being the second). My friends who listen to sucky music thinks Smells Like Teen Spirit sounds awesome. Imagine what a punk wave with some new developments could do.

Also, 47 miles by bus is nothing.

47 miles back and 47 miles forth... I spent 4 hours while I could have spent 0 minutes in just leaving the personal transport ticket on the floor.

500$ and you should be fine.
  7. there is nothing like sitting on your bed at night, surfing the net without any sense, CSI Las Vegas on tv, and eating a big pizza (thuna, onions and double cheese) that will totally ruin the last weeks of eating less
    viva la vida
  8. Quarter pounder on drive-in for me.
  9. I've just polished off a tube of Pringles. Thank you, come again.

EDIT: But a pizza sounds mighty fine right about now...
