1. I'm not comparing it to Achtung Baby the album. I'm comparing it to Achtung Baby the concept (ie, radical shift in musical and thematic direction). Also, much like how the AB brought much commercial success and popularity to U2, MX is bringing a lot of commercial success and popularity to Coldplay.
  2. Thanks, Tim! I find amazing that they've set up a website just for hosting their streaming in-demand stuff

I have always wondered why there are many, many more soundboards/broadcasts/proshots of CP than any other of the bands I suport. It kinda puzzles me.
  3. From the MSN article on the wristbands:

"It is not yet known if Coldplay will use the wristbands when they kick off the second leg of their North American tour in Texas next week."

I realize that the stadium numbers are $640,000 per night, but the arenas shouldn't be that bad. At least half of it. How much do they make per night on ticket sales alone?

EDIT: Just found this tweet: Xylobands are the greatest invention for our concerts that I can ever imagine CM

My faith has been restored a little...
  4. SAD FACES ALL UP IN HERE

But I think many people saw this coming...
  5. Mr. Funkhouser, you did a smiley Spanish flag up there

On a serious note: I can NOT see them quiting the xylobands. It won't happen, whatever the costs are.
  6. "@coldplay: load of press coverage about (exaggerated) cost to us of our wristbands. One wristband = less than a pint of beer + much more fun! PH"
  7. Bitch please.

  8. don't know whether to take that as a good bitch please, or a bad bitch please. thought it sounded nice. I liked the Invisible Men remix too.
  9. I liked it.
