1. For some reason I doubt that. You could always point to your own country not that long ago if that's what you want to teach us... Also... I doubt we need to be taught by you on the subject.
  2. I agree with Olof, what you say is not very convincing when you notice that all you post about, concerns the USA.

Also we don't need to be taught, we are grown people who will interpret information as we see fit.
  3. Well,the news are here :

Syrian government shot a Turkish plane and they say that it was mistakenly made.

As it's been said, the plane was on the international zone when it was shot, but during it's flight,it had a short visit to the Syrian zone, after it got out,the government shot it down.

'It didn't carry any weapon,it was an educational program' says theTurkish government

Syria had stated that they didn't know it was a Turkish plane, after they've shot, they understood it was

The worst news are it's been discovered that the two pilots couldn't use any parachutes or lift-up seats.

From all over the world all we hear is that this is something unacceptable and we have to do something.

  4. Yeah, that's been pretty big news everywhere. Something new needs to be done against Syria.
  5. We might stop all the flights between Syria and Turkey, but I don' want war.

It's been a lot of talk about this thing, maybe, maybe too much talk,I don't want to see those countries pushing Turkey to start a war against Syria, all they want to do is that.

We are going to do something about this, but not going to start a war. ( I hope )

But this is too much,Syria was waiting for an attack maybe ? That's why they immideatly shot it down. But still, this is too much.
  6. The international community has been advising restraint.

What would turn the Syria situation around would be if Russia's support stopped.
  7. Plain stupid from the Turks though, entering a countries airspace when the country is in war. Shooting it down was a mistake, far from a wise move. However this sole incident does not warrant the 5th clausule of the NATO treaties.

Nothing will happen while the UN and the Arabic League don't approve military intervention.

Agreed. If they wre planning to intervene in Syria, it would have happened months ago. How sad it is, those 2 turkish victims won't change anything
  9. Whether it was in Syria is unclear though... Turkey says international right is on their side.

  10. Yeah, but they shouldn't have flown over Syria, which they allegedly did. Still Syria shouldn't have shot the plane down..

  11. But that was a mistake... and they shot it down in international airspace. According to Turkey.

  12. Yeah I know, but there isn't a lot that can be down against Syria. Pretty much everything that can be done is done already because of their civil war.
