1. Dont you just hate it when answers of Multiple Choice tests are not put up online, when the teachers let you wait for weeks when you could determine your grade yourself in a few seconds
  2. I never have test exams My GF does, though, and she hates that indeed

  3. cheers to all the members from USA :M

  4. Never had Multiple Choice exams? I meant regular Multiple Choice exams not test exams

  5. Never ever since I got out from school. All our exams are free response/essay exams. Multiple choice's are hard, but I wish we had some every now and then
  6. In difficulty there is not much difference. Had a MC exam for Math once, that really sucks on so many levels.
  7. Multiple Choices are worse for those who study harder - and that obviously does not include me
  8. Hahaha i disagree. In free form exams, doing 50% right roughly equals to a 6. On MC most of the times you need 67% for a 6.

MC are well suited for knowledge testing, not for calculations.
  9. How can you do a free form exam without knowing most of the stuff? haha, not, when you don't study that much, MC exams are somewhat of a release since you already have the right answer in front of you - you just have to pick it up. When you have studied much, you'll always know the right answer but you will doubt! hahaha
  10. You are right when you do some derivations, you can be right till the last step and end up on the wrong answer. In freeform style you will get most points on MC 0. So that sucks when you know most stuff.

On the other hand without studying you can guess some answers right, never up till the degree of a pass though.
  11. Real advantage of MC is that it is easy to grade. Even by machine.
  12. Yep, we agree now. Still I miss some MCs in my degree
