1. The Tree of Life

Terrance Mailck is a bit "out there."

  2. I love Malick. His films aren't for everyone though.
  3. Transformers 3.

A couple comments. Hearing North Star in the movie was AMAZING. Also, they actually used it in appropriate scenes.

In spite of the fact that everybody was saying that it would be a terrible movie, I thoroughly enjoyed it. As I tell everybody, you have to go into a Michael Bay movie with the understanding that you won't get a deep plot, thrilling dialogue, or developed characters. You're going to get huge special effects and massive explosions. Based on that criteria, the movie actually surprised me by giving me a decent plot, some good dialogue, and a couple memorable characters.
  4. The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D

    Loved it.
  5. Love all his film except for "The New World." Had a disconnected second half...

Anyway, I just got back from "Moonrise Kingdom." It's great. Probably Anderson's best since "Rushmore."
  6. Savages
  7. After hearing the sad news about Ernest Borgnine, I stayed up late watching The Wild Bunch last night. One of the greatest films ever made. RIP.
  8. Watched Saw 3D a few days ago on a 3D TV set. Better than expected.
  9. Watched Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close last sunday...it's very deep, and that little kids shoud have won an Oscar for it. Nice drama movie, in my opinion.
